GFEL is making strides in its commitment to promoting climate-friendly technology in Africa. As part of our vision to contribute to the development and sustainability of the circular economy for future generations. Using the BalPac technology, we will generate 1440 MW of electricity from landfill waste in each geopolitical Zone in Nigera.
In collaboration with our technical and financial partners, GFEL will roll out the project in phases. For the south west, we have engaged the waste management authority in Ogun State. By the first quarter of 2025, the first phase of the project will commence.
